NYC.gov

NYC.gov, the city's online hub for everything from updates from the mayor's office to recycling collection schedules to dog license renewals, needed a redesign. A RFP was issued, and the response required fairly complex documentation. Then there was the issue of UX-ing a highly intricate site with tons of disparate content in a very short time. As part of the pitch team, I wore many hats, creating personas and mapping out the user journey; collaborating closely on strategy, IA/UX and layout; writing site copy and editing the final (87 page) response.
